So far, I've had a wonderful summer break. I get up in the morning, make coffee, and when it's ready, I go out onto our deck. I sit in the morning sunshine, listening to the birds, while I sip my coffee and read my book. It's paradise!
I just turned 50. Wow, that's old. In an effort to feel like a kid again, I got my ear cartilage pierced. It worked. When my mom saw it, she grounded me. But no one told me that my ear would be so sore so long afterwards. If they did, I might have opted for the tatoo after all...
