So, it's conference week. My student showed up with her mother, two younger siblings, and the brand new brother in a stroller. This family is notorious for having babies. So I said to the mom, "What number is this?" "10," mom replied. The oldest child is 16. Wow. As we got settled at the round table for the conference, I said to Sally, "So, how does it feel to be a big sister again?" Sally replied, "Well, I was jealous at first because I didn't get all the attention..." Honey, you were one of nine children before this baby came. I don't think you ever got all the attention.
